It’s official! Coach K WILL be returning as the USA Basketball coach in the 2016 Olympics!
“Mike Krzyzewski has decided to remain coach of the U.S. men’s Olympic basketball team.
Krzyzewski will try to lead the Americans to a third straight gold medal, a person with knowledge of the decision said Wednesday. Originally expected to step down, Krzyzewski will hold a news conference to confirm his return Thursday at Duke, the source told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because no announcement has been made.”

After spending the past year away from the sport he has played for as long as he can remember, Dawkins says he is eager to return to the court with newfound clarity and purpose for one final season with the Blue Devils.
“I missed it a lot,” Dawkins said during a spring semester exam break. “It was a lot different not being out there on the court, watching the guys play and not being able to help them, so I think I got a new appreciation for it. I think it was something I took for granted, that basketball was always going to be there, and not having it there really made me appreciate it.”
